The roaring Formula 1 Powerboats set to debut at the Battle on the Colorado in Marble Falls, Texas
The Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce proudly announces it’s partnership with the Formula One Powerboat Championship to host a premier powerboat racing event, the Battle on the Colorado, scheduled on August 1–3, 2025 on Colorado River at Lakeside Park.
The adrenaline-charged weekend will be highlighted by outboard circuit racing at its finest, featuring the Formula One powerboat division with support from both the Tri Hulls, and Formula Light classes guaranteed to delight the thousands of local fans.
“This is not just a race. It’s a spectacle,” said Jarrod Metzgar, CEO of the Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to bring the Formula One Powerboat Championship to Marble Falls and elevate the Battle on the Colorado into a nationally recognized event. It’s a win for our community, our local businesses, and the thousands of fans who will line the banks to witness the action.”
With speeds topping 120 mph and razor-tight turns, spectators can expect edge-of-the-seat excitement all weekend long. The event is set to draw major crowds and boost local tourism.
