The F1 Powerboat Championship heads to Highlands, TX, for the Battle on the San Jacinto! Get ready for a weekend of high-speed action as the fastest boats on the water take on the San Jacinto River, battling for position in one of the final races of the season.
Baytown BoatClub Introduction
The Baytown Boat Club is a private facility that offers some of the most dynamic powerboat racing views in the country. Since the club’s inception in 1948, this intimate setting provides fans and guests some of the most intense racing interaction they have ever seen. The boat club’s unique facility located just 30 minutes east of downtown HOUSTON & 35 minutes from IAH is a private racecourse experience as the San Jacinto River meanders southward towards Galveston Bay.
The unique setting allows for a totally immersive experience where you feel as if you are in a stadium watching NASCAR, but without the hassle of the crowds and long lines allowing for up close interaction with the race teams and open race pit access is included with all tickets. We are excited for this opportunity to host participants and crews and fans from all over North America and hope you will join us to celebrate 77 years of good, clean, hometown fun!

From I-10, exit Crosby Lynchburg Rd and head north on Main St. In approximately 2 miles, turn left onto Clear Lake Rd. This will dead in into race site.
Battle on the San Jacinto
Houston has a long tradition in Powerboat Racing. The Baytown Boat club has hosted various powerboat races throughout its 77-year history. The San Jacinto creates an epic backdrop for the final race of the 2025 calendar, where championships will be on the line and the battles will be raging on the water.
Gates Open Friday October 10th at 8:30 am. The excitement on the water kicks off with Friday mornings dedicated test and tune sessions for all classes followed by qualifying scheduled to begin at 11:30AM. Opening Ceremonies at 12:45PM will be followed by racing action through the afternoon. The drivers party were fans can meet their favorite drivers starts at 6:30PM to cap off day 1.
Saturday October 11th the gates open at 10:00AM followed by a brief testing session before opening ceremonies commence at 11:45AM. Racing promptly begins at 12:00PM and will continue throughout the day with the awards presentation at 4:00PM
Ticket Pricing:
$10 per day plus fees
- *kids { 10 & under are FREE }*
- No dogs will be permitted in any spectator areas.
- Coolers will be permitted 😊
- Tents will be permitted but limited to certain areas.
